
Andrew Wild
Middle School Science Teacher
Andrew Wild just started his second year as a middle school science teacher in Winooski, Vermont. He is a Knowles Teaching Initiative senior fellow and holds a master’s and PhD in science education from Stanford University. His work at Stanford included co-authoring the book Arguing From Evidence in Middle School Science and design and research of project-based learning with the Stanford Center for Assessment, Learning, and Equity. Andrew was the founding science faculty member at the High Meadows Graduate School of Education, which prepared pre-service teachers to design and facilitate project-based learning. Prior to his doctoral work, Andrew taught high school science in the San Francisco Bay Area, including the project-based Envision Schools.
